Fair Taxes prayer walk

Prayer WalkWalk, reflect and pray for Fair Taxes in your own community. A free prayer resource by Church Action on Poverty and the Student Christian Movement (SCM).

At the launch of ‘Fair Taxes on Campus’ (our joint campaign with SCM)  in Manchester in March 2013, students took part in a prayer walk around the city. Pausing at ‘stations’ with a connection to poverty, justice and tax dodging, they reflected on the issues and prayed for change.

Now you can hold your own Fair Taxes prayer walk – to get a group thinking about tax justice, or to guide your own prayer and reflection.

This outline lists the locations we visited in Manchester. You can design your own route for a prayer walk wherever you live. We’ve included suggestions for choosing your own stations that fit the theme.
